Monlanchum (無量川)
Monlanchum takes its name from Wuliang Mountain in Yunnan, renowned for its ancient Pu-erh tea trees and historic plantations.
We are honoured to partner with Monlanchum on the first release in our White Rose Cooperage Select series. Our edition, strictly limited to 2024 bottles in a nod to the year of Monlanchum's award, is now in production in a bottle and label designed by White Rose Cooperage.
The spirit is finished in rare 20-year-old Pu-erh tea-seasoned casks, a pioneering seasoning technique that gives remarkable depth and layered, earthy complexity.

Best Chinese Whisky, 2024
Monlanchum Chinese Tea Whisky was named Best Chinese Whisky at the Whisky Magazine Hong Kong Best Spirits Awards 2024.
It took the gold award in its category, presented in November 2024 at Whisky Live and Bar Show Hong Kong. Other winners that year included The Yamazaki 12 Year Old and Bowmore 18 Year Old.

Our selection standards
We search the spirits world for unique, high-potential batches. Only expressions that meet our standards for wood interaction, flavour complexity and maturation depth earn the White Rose Cooperage label.
Bottling collaborations
We partner with distilleries, independent blenders, brand owners and private collectors, helping with cask selection, custom seasoning and packaging compliance.
